What our clients say

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my aircraft isn't available?

If your first choice isn't available, we'll offer you alternative helicopters for the same route. You choose whether to switch or cancel. Your card is never charged until a flight is confirmed — if nothing works for you, the hold is released and you pay nothing.

Do you operate the helicopters?

No. HeliGreece is a licensed charter broker. We connect you with EASA-certified, HCAA-licensed operators across Greece. Every aircraft meets the highest European safety standards, every pilot holds a current type rating with 500+ hours on type.

What documents do I need?

Greek aviation law requires a passport or national ID for every passenger. After booking, we'll send you a simple upload link — just take a photo with your phone, it takes less than a minute per person.

What about weather cancellations?

Safety first, always. If weather conditions make your flight unsafe, you get a full refund or free rebooking to another date — your choice, no questions asked.

Is the helicopter shared with other passengers?

Never. Every booking is a full aircraft charter. It's just you, your group, and the pilot. No shared seats, no strangers.

Can I bring children?

Yes, children are welcome on all flights. Infants under 2 years can usually travel on a parent's lap (operator-dependent), older children require their own seat with a fitted seatbelt. Please add each child as a separate passenger when booking and provide accurate body weight for the operator's weight & balance calculation. Some operators may require a child safety seat — we will confirm the specifics with you after booking.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets can travel on most charters but are operator-dependent and require advance approval. Small pets (up to ~10 kg) typically travel in an approved carrier on the floor or on a passenger's lap. Larger pets need to be discussed individually. Please mention your pet in the special requests field when booking, including species, weight, and size. We'll confirm with the assigned operator before the flight.

What's the difference between sightseeing and charter flights?

Sightseeing flights are scenic tours that depart and return to the same location — for example a 30-minute aerial loop over Santorini's caldera. You don't transfer to a destination; the aircraft stays with you and brings you back. Charter flights are point-to-point transfers, either one-way (e.g. Athens to Mykonos) or round-trip with multiple stops. Both are full aircraft rentals — no shared seats, the helicopter is exclusively yours.

  2. Select & confirm — Choose your aircraft, review the cancellation policy, and confirm. A 30% deposit secures your booking.
  3. We coordinate — Our team contacts you to confirm helipad details, passenger IDs, and any special requests.
  4. Fly — Meet your pilot at the helipad. A short safety briefing, then take off. No queues, no waiting. Just sky.

The price you see is the price you pay

We show the full aircraft price -- not per seat. No fuel surcharges added at checkout. No hidden "operational fees". VAT (13%) is shown clearly and separately. Enter your route and get an instant, fixed quote.

Pricing is per flight, not per seat. A deposit secures your booking; the balance is due before departure. For flights within 7 days, full payment is required. Groups of 3-5 often find helicopter charter very competitive compared to business-class ferry or domestic flights.

How our clients fly

Honeymoon — Athens → Santorini

A couple celebrating their honeymoon lands directly near their Oia hotel instead of navigating the crowded airport taxi queue. The caldera approach from the air sets the tone for the entire trip — an arrival that feels as special as the occasion.

Corporate — Athens → Mykonos

A team wraps up a 2pm meeting in Athens and makes their evening dinner reservation in Mykonos. No ferry schedules to work around, no commercial flight connections to stress about. The 28-minute helicopter transfer turns a logistical challenge into a seamless transition.

Island Hopping — 3 Islands in 4 days

A family covers Mykonos, Paros, and Santorini over four days — spending time on each island instead of spending time getting between them. Total flight time for three legs: under 90 minutes. The same journey by ferry would take 8+ hours.

Family — Athens → Porto Heli

A family of four reaches Porto Heli in 30 minutes from central Athens. The children are still talking about seeing the Acropolis from the air. What would have been a 2.5-hour drive becomes an experience in itself.

Superyacht — Yacht → Shore transfer

A superyacht guest needs to get from the vessel anchored off Mykonos to a villa on shore and back — with precise timing coordinated between the captain and ground team. The helicopter handles the logistics that water taxis cannot guarantee.

Birthday trip — Athens → Corfu

A group of six flies to Corfu for a birthday weekend. The Airbus ACH135 accommodates everyone comfortably, and the Ionian coastline from 1,000 feet provides views that start the celebration before they even land.
